and my patience has been rewarded with a brilliant versatile, well made bit of kit.
The dumbbells are quite long, but well balanced, and the size hasn’t hampered the ergonomics of any exercise I’ve done so far. The selector mechanism is a game changer for convenience, and swift alterations in drop sets.
If you are serious about keeping your training going during pandemic restrictions, or committed to training at home even longer term, then these are a fantastic investment.
Had these 40kg dumbbells for a few months now, was initially skeptical because they are cheaper than others on the market. As soon as I held them, I could feel they are well made, solid pieces of equipment. They are quite big, but thats not necessarily a bad thing. Easy to adjust and feel good to work out with. Over the moon with them.
Didn’t realise they would be so big but they are excellent and I am looking forward to many sessions with these. Stick with the delivery delays, well worth it in the end and mine only turned up a week after the original expected delivery date. With everything going on you can’t really complain. Looking forward to buying the power rack in a couple of weeks.
Received the 40KG set about two weeks ago, and they are serving their intended purpose. However, the rubber grips (as shown in the photographs) are absent on mine. I plan on taping the handles with silicone grip tape, but really, I consider the lack of rubber grips an unwelcome oversight.
Hello Robert thanks for your feedback my apologies it wasn’t clear that the 40kg dumbbells come with a knurled handle rather then a rubber sleeve as seen in the image of the 24kg dumbbells.
