  These dumbbells were well worth the wait. HyGym’s customer service through the delays was top notch,
and my patience has been rewarded with a brilliant versatile, well made bit of kit.
The dumbbells are quite long, but well balanced, and the size hasn’t hampered the ergonomics of any exercise I’ve done so far. The selector mechanism is a game changer for convenience, and swift alterations in drop sets.
If you are serious about keeping your training going during pandemic restrictions, or committed to training at home even longer term, then these are a fantastic investment.

  First time spinning and I absolutely love it! Such a dream. Easy to assemble and very sturdy bike for those HIIT spin classes. Customer service was also amazing when I needed updating on my bike, super quick and easy!

  95% of the service was and product quality is great, however, due to the lack of the height in my room the pull up bar needed to be installed upside down, but the bar did not fit. This led to a lot of communication back an forth and, hours of head scratching before it was agreed the item had been welded with too small a gap to accept the uprights and spacers. A new one was sent and has fitted ok, with the additional spacers and extra long bolts.

  More like at least 4 and a half stars to be honest. Nearly 5 star.

Pros
- Price can't be beat for a power rack with a lat pulldown
- No issues delivering to Northern Ireland like so many other companies
- Was given 5% discount at the checkout. After purchase i discovered a further 5% discount voucher in my junk mail. After contacting a member of staff, they kindly refunded me 5% of what i originally paid
- Arrived within 3 days. Great for NI delivery from mainland UK
- The lat attachment pulley system is great. Loving using it


Cons (mostly minor)
- Could be packaged better to protect items
- Paper instructions useless. Online ones better, but takes a little while to understand. Could do with better photos and maybe arrows pointing where to place/tighten parts
- Don't use the spanners provided. You stand no chance of tightening anything. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Lat bar arrived without the hole drilled out and scuffed in places. The team quickly sent out a replacement free of charge for me.
- Little bolt sticks out where weight plates are attached for the lat attachment. This could catch the nearest plate when operating the system. However, i used a grinder to cut it flush with the nut.
- The little balls on the ends of the two cables have cones on top of them. Whenever operating the lower cable for e.g. Hamstring curls on a bench, the cone thing slides away from the ball and down the cable stratching the plastic coating on the cable. I have taped both to the round balls now to prevent this
- Number of scratch marks on pull up bar and it can't be turned upside down as stated. Didn't bother me as i have the ceiling height required
- No padding on J hooks. Although, i added some myself.
- Lat attachment sticks, but can be easily rendered with DW40

Mostly minor cons, but overall i am very pleased with the rack so far. Great value and customer service. Would recommend,

  Seems everybody had the same experience as me. Took three months to arrive, after being given several arrival dates which kept being delayed, although I'm quite sure a delivery came in at least once and I was missed off the dispatch list by the warehouse team. Shane did send me some free goods out though as compensation with was much appreciated. When it did finally turn up only one out of the two boxes required arrived and the box was quite knocked and battered. There were some scratches and scuffs to the paint work of the contents but nothing that bothered me much. I contacted Shane and as ever he was quick to respond and they located my second box in the courier's warehouse which then turned up at my house two days later. This was great apart from the fact two identical boxes actually arrived (meaning I now had somebody else's second box lol). Anyway, I contacted Shane again on messenger (don't bother trying to phone as nobody ever answers) and he quickly arranged collection to get it out of my way. The gym comes without assembly instructions of any sort but I contacted Shane and he sent me a link to some on a website, and although they don't match this power tower exactly, it was easy enough to follow and work it out. It took me about an hour or so to build it by myself.
It's a good solid bit of kit and the pulley system is far smoother than I expected and great value for money. I'm actually really pleased I bought it and resisted the urge to insist on a refund (which Shane did offer me several times by the way). Lots of things Hygym can improve on as a business but they're a new start up and growing fast in a challenging time so I can sympathize with that.
I would have given top marks if it wasn't for the few niggles mentioned above. In summary, great kit, fantastic price, good honest communication from Shane, once Hygym iron out a few of these teething problems I'm sure they have the potential to do very well. If you're in a hurry to receive your gym, order elsewhere but pay a lot more, if you're happy to wait a bit you won't be disappointed I'm sure.

  Happy with the service I received but haven't used the spin bike yet. Only 1 quibble is that I didn't receive a message to say what day or time product was coming. Luckily, my partner was in when it turned up. Other than that, seem a great company to deal with 👍

HyGYM Multi Gym Cable Attachment

  Bought this bar for doing workouts at home and in the garden since gyms are closed. It's a decent bar, well balanced and the quick release is great when doing dropsets.
